I nearly dropped the bag in shock when I opened it and found a massive D20 packed with 20 eyeballs from a beholder glaring back at me! Add the actual beholder in the 1d8, a metal 1d4 (which, honestly, could deal real-life 1d4 piercing damage), and a tiny duck wearing a Christmas hat hidden inside a 1d6, and I couldn’t be more thrilled!
I was really amazed. As a dice collector I have been buying dice from DakotaIrish for several yers now, but never expected to get such a nice variety of dice. This bag contains a wonderfull collection of dice - every one from another set of dice - but every single dice is a masterpiece.
And with this kind of mystery bag it is impossible to get the exact same set of dice twice.
The Math Rocks were beautiful unfortunately the D4 was a red Standard Plastic Dice.
My whole order was awesome but I was especially excited for the mystery misfit dice! And they did not dissapoint! Every single dice was cool, fun or absolutely gorgeous. I was only a bit sad about the d12, it looks very cool but does not have any numbers so I won't be able to use it.
Absolutely love the concept of this mystery bag and was not disappointed; I was lucky enough to get polymer, sharp-edged, metal and gemstone dice! While I love gelatinous cube and an inky sharp edge fits nicely into my dice boxes current colour palette, the tiger-eye gemstone has a sentimental value to me so bringing it to a tabletop setting means a lot. All of them are clear to read and roll very nicely, 100% would buy again if I felt like treating myself!
